Brought up in rural North Wales, I joined Promar International in 2019 as a Senior Consultant, bringing with me over 10 years’ experience of working with a range of clients across the agri-food sector.
My most recent responsibilities involved leading a high-profile seafood market development project which included the development and identification of a key attributes to inform wider brand development. I have also managed several Government trade contracts to Europe and the Far East which involved joint working with international partners.
In 2015, I established an award-winning event catering business which provided me with first-hand knowledge of food hygiene systems, business marketing and regional sourcing and I am also an experienced Great Taste Judge.
I am a past National Young Farmer of the Year and in 2009, I was fortunate to be awarded a Gareth Raw Rees Scholarship to undertake an export agriculture study to Sub-Saharan Africa.
