Since May 2024, I have been supporting dairy farms in analysing their farm data as part of Promar’s sustainability team. My consulting focus is on improving environmental data to strengthen climate efficiency in the milk value chain.
My family background has been agricultural for generations, which is why I completed a bachelor’s degree in agriculture at Kiel University of Applied Sciences following my training as a shepherdess.
In addition to practical work with sheep and pigs on a piglet farm and a pig fattening farm, I am particularly fond of working with cows. I gained practical experience of this on various dairy farms in northern Germany and gained insights into consultancy work through internships at the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture
