Jessica McHugh

I am part of the Farm Business Survey team, based in Essex, covering farms throughout the Anglia region.

My work focuses on collecting and analysing farm business data, enabling me to provide farmers with valuable benchmarking information, gross margin analyses and reports that support business decision-making.

After graduating from Harper Adams University with a degree in Veterinary Bioscience, I began my career with a strong interest in agriculture and rural businesses. Although my studies were centred around animal science, I have found it fascinating to learn more about the arable sector, which dominates much of the farming landscape in East Anglia. I particularly enjoy visiting a wide range of farms and working closely with farmers to understand how their businesses operate.
