Beth Kirby

Farm Business Consultant
Birth Kirby, Promar International

I joined Promar in 2023 as a Farm Business Consultant, covering Staffordshire and Shropshire.

I’m not from a farming background but discovered my love for dairy farming while I was studying for my bachelor’s degree in Bioveterinary Science at Harper Adams University. My course involved a placement year where I worked at Aintree Holsteins. During this placement I became passionate about herd health and welfare. Healthy cows are happy cows and make for an efficient and harmonious farm and business.

After graduating in 2017, I spent four years as herd manager on the Sansaw Estate in Shropshire, a 1500 cow spring block calving herd. I then worked for 18 months on another spring block herd of 1100 cows in Stafford, where I became manager.

I achieved a distinction in Promar’s Dairy Management Academy in 2019/20, and took part in the Tesco Future Farmer Foundation programme in 2020/21.

I’m committed to giving my all to promote efficiency on farm and societal sustainability, using modern data collection and analysis as well as practical know-how to achieve the very best results for all my clients.
