Geraint May

Growing up in North Wales, I have always been surrounded by agriculture and the rural way of life! I have gained vital experience working on dairy farms in the UK and New Zealand, on a large arable and sheep farm in Berkshire, and also for an agricultural contractor.

I graduated from Harper Adams with a BSc (Hons) degree in Agriculture in 2016. Since then, I have worked for a company specialising in carbon footprinting through on farm efficiency assessments and more recently for a milk recording company as an Area Field Manager.

Combining my practical experience, advising on farm improvements to drive efficiency, and analysing cow performance through milk recording data, has left me in good stead for being part of the Promar team. I am FACTS certified, BASIS Soils & Water certified and a RoMS accredited mobility scorer. In addition, I am a Professional Member of the Institute of Agriculture Management.

In my spare time I enjoy cycling, walking with my dog and taking part in numerous triathlons.
