I bring a diverse background that bridges agriculture, marketing, project management, and finance. I hold an HND in Animal Science and a Dip DigM in Direct and Digital Marketing. Raised on a sheep farm with a stud of Welsh Ponies (Sections A–D), large selection of poultry and the odd cow, I developed a strong foundation in animal husbandry and rural enterprise from an early age.
After completing my studies in Animal Science at De Montfort University Lincoln, I began my career in project management at Blom Aerofilms, where I later transitioned into a finance role. Following maternity leave, I accepted a Finance Management position at the international geospatial company 4EI, gaining valuable experience in global operations, cashflow and financial leadership.
I joined Promar International in 2002, where I continue to apply my financial expertise within the agricultural sector.
Alongside my professional work, I manage a small flock of Easycare and Exlana sheep, maintain a passion for photography, serve as chairman of 1st Cheddar Scouts, coach junior hockey and enjoy playing senior hockey on weekends – enthusiastically, if not always skilfully
