I joined Promar in July 2022 and progressed quickly from Associate to Farm Consultant, covering the South West.
I spent the first few years post graduating (with a First-Class Honours Degree in Agricultural Business Management with additional achievement awards) working for a local consultancy firm, primarily running the Maize Growers Association and Devon Grassland Society.
Through sensitive and supportive conversations, I help farmers to overcome legislative and compliance challenges, whilst ensuring profitability.
My aim is to help farm businesses make the best of something they’ve worked incredibly hard to sustain to this point. I’m interested to help you to navigate the changes that we’re facing as an industry, whilst understanding how these may fit in with your current enterprises. I will always bring a positive, can-do, attitude.
My time is split between ongoing dairy technical work to boost cow productivity and health, and one-off support in reaching targets, meeting legal requirements, and gaining additional farm income.
I am FACTS and BASIS Soil and Water qualified and a member of the Feed Advisor Register.
Outside of my work with Promar, I am sheep farming with my partner on Exmoor and relief milking on a nearby organic dairy farm.
