Francesco Magnoli

My great interest in agriculture began when I was a child. However, my specialisation in animal health and livestock production systems emerged when I studied Agricultural Science at the University of Milan.

After my degree, I worked on a farm with a closed herd of Limousin cattle, which produced beef for its two butcher shops. Here I learned the importance of business planning and strategy, having responsibility for the entire process, from the farm to the shop.

After this experience I joined an agricultural association, helping farmers with technical advice and support.

From these two experiences I discovered that to run a successful a profitable business, it is crucial to focus on the data, both technical and financial. This is why I joined the Italian Promar team. I hope we will grow together.

I live in the north of Italy with my wife and my daughter. I love sports, including soccer, rugby and skiing. I also enjoy travelling, visiting new countries, and cooking for friends.
