Rotation 1 with Genus ABS: Discover and develop your key account partnership skills with the largest global bovine genetics business

Rotation 2 with Promar International: Learn and deliver your consultancy skills with our knowledgable and experienced agricultural consultants

Rotation 3: Tailored to your skills and career aspirations within the business needs of Genus Plc, ABS, PIC, or Promar International

Interested to learn more about the scheme and the opportunities it offers? Hear from Vicky, one of our alumni grads, who tells us why the programme was a brilliant career starter.

“I joined the graduate scheme in September 2018. Not from a farming family, I saw the graduate scheme as the perfect opportunity to build on the knowledge I had gained from my university degree in agriculture and my farm experience. It was the perfect way to kickstart my career.

Starting the first rotation in Genus, on the breeding side, provided a good foundation before moving to Promar International in the second rotation. This comprised of an excellent training programme, covering everything from nutrition, health and finances – all of which we learnt both on farm and collaboratively, with my fellow graduates. Putting this new theory into practice on farm cemented my learnings and built on my confidence. Both of which have been essential when it comes to advising farms in order to help them unlock their potential.

For my final rotation, I moved into the South Consultancy team within Promar where I continued to build on my knowledge and confidence. I also had the opportunity to gain accreditation as a RoMs Mobility Scorer and a Mastitis Control Plan deliverer.

Promar has allowed me to reach my goals and pursue a career I never thought I would have been able to achieve. I am now a Farm Business Consultant with the South Farm Consultancy Team; the graduate scheme gave me the foundation to be here today.”
