I’ve always had a passion for dairy cows, having spent my childhood on my family’s Parmigiano Reggiano dairy farm. It was those early experiences that spurred me to study for a graduate degree in Agricultural Science at Milano University.
During my degree, I also had the opportunity to spend some time in Scotland where I learned more about cattle and sheep farming. It was through visiting different herds that I was able to develop my knowledge and passion for genetics and economic analysis. I consider both as solid elements for growing a successful farm business.
In my free time, I love hiking in the mountains, discovering local food around Italy and supporting my football team. I am also very lucky because my town produces the best “Culatello” ham in the world – it’s a firm favourite!
