Before I started working for Promar International I worked in the office for my family run Home Hardware Business dealing with ordering, stock intakes and current/potential suppliers. I have always been involved in the agricultural industry but defined my career path during my A-levels.
I have a variety of agricultural experience, but my passion is sheep. I studied BSc (Hons) Agricultural Management at the Royal Agricultural University. I then went on to study Bookkeeping and Administration specific to Farm Accounts.
When I have some spare time I go clay shooting and horse riding, competing in unaffiliated one day events and also enjoy show jumping. I am an active member and secretary of the Devon Federation of Young Farmers, which I enjoy, but is a big responsibility.
My biggest achievement so far is winning the ‘Start Small’ award last year!
