I am originally from South West Wales, beginning my consultancy journey in 1986 as a Farm Management Consultant for the Milk Marketing Board, I then continued my career as the Regional Agriculture Manager for a large British bank before re-joining Promar in 2016.
My experience has given me a deep and diverse understanding of what motivates farming businesses across the UK as well as an in-depth appreciation of what affects the financial performance of farm businesses.
Many of these roles have helped me towards being a very effective and enthusiastic Communicator, Team Player, Coach and Trainer. Both in a 1:1 environment and to wider diverse audiences, with high levels of diligence, proactivity and tenacity.
In 2016 I was awarded with Fellow of The Royal Agricultural Societies in recognition of services to the Agriculture Industry (Business Consultancy and Agricultural Banking.
I have furthered my knowledge in 21st Century Leadership at the London Business School, Advanced Agriculture Business Management from Worshipful Company of Farmers Diploma in Design & Delivery. Training Accreditation Programme (T.A.P) Diploma in L & D Consultancy and the Training Accreditation Programme. (T.A.P) International Compliance Association (I.C.A.) as well as a Certificate in Trade Based Financial Crime Compliance.
